I have heard nothing but good things about Zak. Cape Verde is the place to be for sure! Hope to get over there in the next few years. Is Scuba Steve still running the deck? Ive had the pleasure of crewing with him for a few days in Australia He is an amazing crewman. Hope you enjoyed a few 'Pirates Coffee's' with Scuba!! AAARRRRRRRRRR!!

Would love to hear more about this location. Accomodations, food, atmosphere, transportation and locals as well as type of boats and condition of tackle etc. I have heard some good stuff about this place and almost made the trip last year. Would appreciate any help.

Bill, as much as you travel it's about time you go there! Had considered seriously moving there after Senegal... For the kids sake we moved here but Cap Verdians are very friendly and hard workers. Go and do it the "Old Man and the Sea" way on small local boat... All you need are a couple 50's and a few squids!!!
