There was some heated bidding on the Jackson piece, finally purchased by Mr. Duffie. When he found out that the person he was bidding against was Branch's brother Tree, yes Tree, he went and talked with him. Tree had wanted to buy the painting, have a plaque made and donate it to Sunset Grille/Teasers to hang in a memorial setting. When Mr Duffie heard this, he immediately donated the piece as Tree was going to do.

Wish I could have stuck around for Sunday. It was a 1st class event for a great cause. Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make it happen and a few blue marlins caught to boot. Congrats to the Duffies.
