This should be a great tournament. There is the real possibility to hang a true slob this weekend with the incredible amount of bait that has shown this year. Don't even think about whitey this weekend. All I want to see is 130 bents and 5 pound baits! Good luck to all and let the games begin when that voltswagon appears in your spread...
19 boats andjust under 70,000 in prize money.
I believe something like 16,000 Raised for the family so far. There is live auction Sunday night tohelp too.
Great turnout for a first year tourney
Any reports?
Predator 2 whites
Par five 1 white
Espadon 1 white
That is all I know on releases
legasea -17lb dolphin
espadon 16.5 dolphin
A few blues seen and missed and 1 hooked and pulled off. I think 10 out of 19 boats fished today.
LAst Call caught a sub- qualifying yellowfin, and that was it- at least some fish were seen.
I know of 2 boats tallying 3 blues that were not in the tourney- keeping my fingers cross for my luck to change tomorrow.
Billfisher had a blue and two whites
Reel Joy had a blue and a white
Legasea had two whites
Last Call - 3 whites
Tighten Up 2 Blues - first place
I am sure there is more but that is all I know

Final Results?
Billfisher 2 blues 4 whites
Tighten Up 2 Blues
Reel Joy came in third- I am not sure of his tally, at least 1 blue
Legasea took top dolphin, Billfisher took top tuna.
There were 6 blue marlin and a bunch of whites caught- 19 boats 2 days of fishing, it was pretty impressive.
The auction brought ton of money in, I think the top selling item was a Jimmy Jackson original painting which sold for over 3k. The fishing community showed its class last night with everyone opening their hearts as well as their wallets to help the Kreppels.
I am not ashamed to say that i was moved to tears more than a couple of times.
We all miss you Branch- I hope things are ok up in heaven, and you have the pearly gates charter fleet's props changed and shafts dialed in.....
