Boat Harbour Marlin Bite?

Just got back from 10 days in the islands. Fished 4 days out of boat harbour and one out of west end. totaled 3 blues, one white and a few dolphin all out of boat harbour with nothing but a few cudas out of west end. pulled the hook on 3 other blues and got cut off by a passing fish on a nice blue between 300 and 500 lbs when he had 3/4 of the spool stretched out. had a terrible time keeping the hooks in em for some reason this week. Caught a bunch of marina fish including a nice tarpon in the west end marina. Had a great time and had some good fishing.

We'll be bringing her up sometime in the next few weeks. We need a little work done before heading north. We got to shake all the winter bugs out of the boat in the islands.I was going to give you a call sometime this weekend and see if you were headed over to the islands before the fish show up in oc but it already looks a little late for that.
