i spent 6 weeks in Pirates Cove after the tournament white marlin fishing with circle hooks in different conbinations with small lures and ballyhoo. My most successfull combo was the Rico with the circle in front of the lure. The head is small enough that it didnt interfear with the hook up. I rigged the hoo just like I would rig one on a teaser with the monel and he pulled fine right there behind the lure. I used a few lil chuggers which are soft, and even though they raise fish, my issue with soft lures is that the hook can get hooked on the head of your lure. Anyway, this is my two cents on what I have done so far.
