for rods.
the new superseeker have been getting very popular for guys fishing for whites. the calstar GF have always been a 'top end" choice. there are 2 or 3 different blanks we use for the right action/length for guys. TLD are still the workhorse reel. some "gold" guys have used the torsa. and a few the HX from avet. and the smaller gold from shim or penn.are popular for upperend rods. |

I have been a TLD 25 and 30 fan for a long time. Last week I fished on a boat that had all Shimano Tyrnos single speed
30s. The drag was extremely smooth and very easy to adjust at the lightest settings. For the money I would really consider the Tyrnos. As far as rods the star rods in 15 -30 are great. Line 30lb high vis suffix. |
