Best Damn thing I ever ate was..........

I use to laugh at my buddy Marty (not Wahoonbox) for saying the best damn pimento cheese is in some gas station just outside of hagerstown, md near the rocky gap. He said it was worth the trip.

So I started thinking of some of the best damn ....... I ever ate.

Best Damn breakfast I ever ate is at the turn to Herrerdura to go to Los Suenos. It used to be called the Soda Bar but since has turned into some deli but they still have the best damn Gallo Pinto con salsa de carne I have ever had. Hell I stayed in Jaco a couple weeks ago and still got in a cab and went to that deli for breakfast.

Best Damn Crabcake I ever ate G&M Seafood off of 695 in baltimore. I don't care if the crabs aren't from Md. It is the best damn crabcake I have ever ate.

Best Damn Fried Chicken - Royal Farms - I am sure that is blastphmy to many but too many agree with me that it is the best damn fried chicken period.

Best Damn Ceviche - I am on the guatemala kick. The ceviche at Buenavista Sportfishing lodge in iztapa, Guatemala made by donia Chave is the bomb. The best damn Ceviche.

Come on now if you had to say - hey - get on a plane, train, boat or automobile and go eat the best damn............ Where would you send me.

Oh yea almost forgot - best damn Lobster Roll I ever ate was a some tiny little red and white shack in Clinton, Ct at the end of some tiny street. Not even sure how the hell we found it but damn was it the best damn lobster roll I ever ate.

Come on glenn, nick, Box, gringa or gringo and the rest of you food buffs. convince me to go somewhere for the best damn..................

Stingray's at the southern end of the Eastern Shore VA has the best damn Clam Chowder and country bacon biscuit's. That's close enough for you to give a shot.

If you like Clam Chowda, the Chowder House in Rockport Ma. has the best you ever put in your mouth !!! But if you want Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy it is at Ford's Restaurant in Midlothian, Texas on Main St. right off FM 287 !!! And don't forget the Peach Cobbler for dessert !!

Britts doughnuts in Carolina Beach. I have been known to eat a dozen by myself. Almost put myself into a diabetic coma. But it was worth it.

the LOCAL liquor store......

buy and put mixology skills to work at HOME so no need to be driving and worrying about the LAW.....and all penalties that can result from a night behind the wheel "over the limit"....

Edgewater Inn in Edgewater gives..... G & M...Timbuktu....and all other known for crabcakes a run for their money....

Edgewater Inn = #1 for Crabcakes....

Fried Chicken: Booty's soul Food on Castle St. in Wilmington,NC(don't laugh, it's a real place) Honorable Mention: Sweet Tea's, Providenciales, TCI

Breakfast: Jimbo's restaurant...Wilmington, NC

Lunch: Riverview cafe, Sneads Ferry,NC

Dinner: The Rib Cage, Jacksonville,NC

Cheesesteak: J. Michael's Philly Deli, Wilmington,NC

Pizza: Fat Baby's Pizza, Hilton Head Island, SC

The hands down best food EVER!!!!!! Was at this little place that was located at 303 S. 6th St., Wilmington,NC. This was the restaurant of Ms. Gertrude Gailes. This woman always had a damn good meal for me everyday wfter school. She is also my grandmother.

Best Island shrimp, Fishouse Grill, Wrightsville Beach NC. Layed on to a bed of Garlic Mashed potatos and covered with dark grapes...OMG, I want some just thinking about it.

Remember the old Krispy Kreme that used to be across from Independence Mall?.....Best doughnuts ever. Used to catch the bus to go there with my friends.
