    Yea i have some of those, but don't you think they are a little big for a horse? They are fine for spanish.

    CA, I think Pitch is right on for the Macks, I'm still scratchin my head on the horses too. I am gonna try 12/0 to start and take it from there.

    Depends

    Since all tournaments this summer require circles on ANY bait....I think the hook would depend on what your goal is: release or kill?

    Obviously a bigger stronger hook would be better for wrapping up on a big fish boat side to stick it...if your just trying to get a release...and maybe a photo for points the smaller eagle claws would probably be better in a large/horse ballyhoo...especially if your pitching to a smaller fish...say a 100lb blue...and would like a degree of finesse

    I have a bunch of those 18/0-20/0 eagles...and plan on using them with Macks this summer....I have found some real neat ways to rig swimming macks on circles lately...but I have heard of people doing real well with the 18/0-20/0 Owners for blues....
