When it turns on here you just have to drop everything and go, because it doesn't last long. Every boat that was going was getting at least 5 shots a day.

In lookin at the pics. from the OC Bite Neilinov posted above always make sure the angler knows to take the drag off strike when you've got the leader, it's hard to handle the fish with the rod tip pickin your nose at the same time

going to have to check into this... i got the boats at my disposal but getting the owners to run to the poormans from barnegat light and manasquan is a little rough..

rather get a good crew and just charter.. so much easier.

Go to Isla. You will get more shots in 3 days than anywhere in the world (usually). The fish may be small but the boat does everything but hook them anyway. You well learn more about hooking a billfish in Isla than anywhere. Chocolate Thunder has some day open.

I agree, Isla is a good choice also. BILLFISHER had some spots open as well, but i think your looking in advance some book them for next winter.
