Add action to any marlin lure in secounds!

Is your lure tracking way too straight and you want to add a little wiggle to it. here is a quick and easy way to off balance your lure in secons and only cost $.10.
Slide a dime in between the skirts! Make sure your skirts are tied and not glued on. Pull first skirt all the up and place dime at the end of lure head. Pull skirt back down and it will now wiggle like an SOB!
P.s. If the lure is larger it may cost you $.25- Hint!

Mate if you have by your own admission never marlin fished (Marlin Lures ?) maybe you should try out your own lures and tips first and see how they perform in the field ... A lot of makers go to some trouble to balance their lures and much of the art of lure skirting and rigging is ensuring that the lure performs as cleanly and perfectly as possible. Would you deliberately try to make a bait spin.

The last time I tried to slide a dime up a skirt I got in real trouble. A quarter wouldn't have helped either

True. I should have titled the thread a little different. I don't have Marlin here to target them enough. But it worked just fine for sails and dolphin. I don't want my lures to spin, just wobble a little more erratic sometimes. As far as performance goes, it's my first year with making and selling lures and so far so good.
Never said I knew it all just trying to pass along a little tip.I've learned more tips here in 2 weeks on this site then fishing and hanging around other sites the past 2 months.

I'm sure that some makers put that kind of time in, but I would think that there is still plenty of mass-produced plastic that don't swim worth a chit and would benefit from the idea.
