fishing has been kind of slow this morning so far 6 or 7 releases in total so no one on 2 release yet. We released a blue of about 300 this morning around 9:45 and then a later on we had a wahoo. Working a promising looking area.
fishing has been steady not red hot but people are releasing one by one. we lost one around lunch and then just tagged #2. fish seem to be a little closer to shore this year.
ended the day yesterday tied for first with afunday a 52 cabo express they had a double header of blues in the last half hour both tagged.
started today in the same spot as yesterday and had a tiny blue come in the spread and pick the biggest lures with no hook up. then had a larger blue scream us out and grey hound way down sea with no chance of stopping him so much so the tiagra died and locked up and we lost him. never had a tiagra lock up on us before has anyone?
shitty morning so far at 0 for 2 and one of them was a nice nice fish.
