101lb wahoo caught on the Osprey in OCMD

Congrats to the little 8 yr old boy who fished on the Osprey today out of Ocean City, Md. I didn't get his name but he told me he reeled in this 101lb wahoo in about 5 minutes. Apparantly the fish came right to the boat. A hell of a catch anyway you do it. Poor picture I know but all I had was my camara phone.

I saw that kid over at Jolly Rogers on the bumper cars...he was telling his friends it weighed 125lbs and he brought it in in on a broken rod and had him gaffed in 3 minutes. The kid is already become a fisherman, heaven help him!!! All kidding aside, that's a catch of a lifetime for anyone...much less a 8 year old...congrats to him, the crew and the capt...well done!

I got there a little late but did see the carcass and head. What a beast. My son and I used a little of the meat left on the carcass and hand lined 5 stripers from 18-24 in in front of the cleaning station.
I did notice some small parasites inside the meat of the wahoo.
Any ideas what these were? Sorry I didn't take a pic of the little critters.

Every Wahoo I have ever cut open always has those parasite deals.... That is normal, no worries bro...... Not sure what they are called though, they look like slugs....
    Ridiculous Wahoo....
I read someone got a #103 Wahoo I thought out of Va Beach the other day.. Wondering if this is the same fish.. If not, thats 2 triple digit wahoos in less than a WEEK!!!
