Rods from the week of 5/12 to 5/21

Thought I'd share some pice of this weeks treasures. The wraps with the shell finish is real Hawaiian Abalone Shell.
Some people like taking pictures of fish, but I enjoy taking pictures of the rods that bring them to the boat!!!
Enjoy,
Kevin

Thanks for sharing

Keep them coming, I enjoy seeing other peoples butt wraps to give me ideas....I lack the creativity side......your sticks look great, good shots also. I'm interested to learn more about the abolone stuff, is it like veneer? How does it hold up? I was wondering if it flex's without cracking or fade, stuff like that.

Will do on the keep it coming request. The abalone is a veneer. With multiple coats of finish it will hold up fine. It does flex from what I have seen in flex tests. I will be doing an article for rodmaker in the coming months, so, stay tuned.
