although you can use hot melt tip glue, for tips that are going to see heavy action, 5 Minute epoxy is probably better in the long run.

Removal
Difficult part is removing the old tips.
I use a dremmel with a cutting wheel and score the old tip lengthwise and pry it open. Dont use heat. It will damage the blank. 5 minepoxy is right. |

No heat? Then it's not as simple as I thought it would be! Maybe I should get a pro to do it, rather than screw up the rods (I have 10 to do).
