Need bamboo boat rod tip and butt

I am a penn reel collector and over the past few years I have acquire several old bamboo boat rods that I would like to restore for display. The problem is, I can't find the old type butt cap and the old type rod tip used on the end section of the rod that has two eyes back to back. If you know what I am talking about, I would appreciate any information that might help me locate these items.

You can try Ken Preston in Westminister Maryland. He is a Bamboo rod builder. He wont have the stuff in stock, but his sources might have it.

I know the guides you are talking about, but dont know where you would find them.

I am a big fan of Penn vintage, but I am not a collector. Have an old 11' Montague surf pole and a bamboo Heddon in my den. Old stuff is really beautiful......Good luck
