Anyone know where to get a Calstar 700MH blank?

Seems that all of the usual places (i.e. Charkbait, Mudhole, Merrick) are sold out now. Should have bought one from Mudhole a few weeks ago!

Can anyone help a brotha out?

Merrick is out of them?!?!?! i did not think that is possible.....

I would call jersey coast bait and tackle in brick nj.. i think he had about 10000 blanks in stock.. also check in with kevin bogan he can get them or has them i am sure!!

They are around.. if you want to also check with the boys out west!! they are bigger out there and easier to come by when needed!! shipping is a nut but you can get it if you need it!!

What do you want to do with it? tuna stick? jigging stick? rollers?!?!

let me know man! really interested!! i want one also to make myself so maybe we can order 2 of them!!

pm me if interested i will find us some!!

Hey Vince.

Good to hear from you again man. I called Merrick and they told me they can get it but it's a special order item and that I need to have a business account #

Mudhole used to have them on their website, but took it off since I think they sold out. Even one of custom rod builders I know is sold out of that particular blank.

I was going to use it as my 40# bait/jigging stick. No rollers. All Ti guides. Maybe an Alps Reel seat. Light, soft tip, strong backbone.

If you can find us some, I'll buy you a sandwich.

I'll contact Jersey Coast B&T as well as Kevin Bogan later today...

Thanks for the number man. I will be sure to give him a call today. I travel from Philadelphia to Bergen County, NJ all the time so Point Pleasant isn't too far outta the way.

No problem ....

It's not their catalog yet as it is a new model they came out with this year. 7 feet long. Rated for 30-60lb, but many people out west claim it could be rated as a 25-60lb rod. Great multi-purpose and versatile rod.
