Talking 24 cape horn

Call Scott or Tyler from Cape Horn Fabbro Marine Group, Inc.
for the performance numbers.

(850) 626-2211 phone

(850) 626-2981 fax

I would of owned the boat you are looking at if my wife didn't like yellow so much. I am pretty sure 65+ mph is the top end. I have a friend with a 25 Hydra Sport express which is 1000lbs heavier and with crew and gas does 57 mph top end. I can't say anything bad about my second 24 Cape Horn except I can't wait for the 31.

Thanks for the heads up....what do you have on the back of your 24??? I am wonderingif its better to go with the 150 etecs...i'd imagine the numbers should be great on that setup. But the numbers look excellent with the 150 yammies and they are bullet proof

Thumbs up

I went with the Yammies on my 08 because they were on the color boat that my wife wanted as well as they are a strong motor delivering more horsepower than labeled. You can't go wrong with E-tecs as well. My next one will be a toss up on the motors. I like the drive by wire features on some of the brands out there as well as power steering. It will be very hard for me to switch boat brands however. We will see it time how it plays out in the future. Good luck on whatever you choose. The market will allow you many choices. Mine will be for sale by the end of this year.

fuel burn

GOOCH
I am using 17 pitch mercury props vs the 19 pitch yamaha props. I am doing about 13.5 g/hr at 35 mph and around 26 or so gal/hr at WOT over 50mph loaded with 4 people.
not to bad.
