Recommendations for fishing Tamarindo, Costa Rica

I'll be in Tamarindo, Costa Rica from Saturday, 7/17 to Friday, 7/23. Would like some recommendations of Charter Boats in the area for inshore/offshore fishing pursuits. At this time of year, what are my best options for catching fish inshore and/or offshore.

Thanks for any guidance you can provide!

You're just down the road from Flamingo so I'd strongly suggest checking out Billfish Safaris out of Marina Papagayo. Excellent fleet of boats and crews. Fished with them several times and always had a good day on the water. Fishing up near the Bat Islands this time of year can bring big blues, sailfish and the usual mix of dorado, tuna, roosterfish.... also a good bottom bite for a variety of snapper and grouper. Talk to Darrell to reserve a boat or find out what's currently biting, tell him Richard from Angler's Digest referred you.
