Yesterday we fished 5-8 miles out of Quepos and got 10 Dorado. We found a small patch of trash and just kept working around it. The water was really nice and so was the weather. All in all a great day to be out on the water. I have a feeling that we are in for a really good season of fishing. We switched up and I let my mate drive and I fished. Fun to finally catch a fish off my boat! Here's a photo of me with Capt. Miagi of the Blue Water II. Miagi fished on another boat today and they caught a small Black Marlin 5 miles out. Lots of Marlin, Dorado and Tuna around. Also some sails being released.
