our day off in paradise lodge

this week we did not have any clients so have been working around the lodge doing some painting and fixing! we took yesterday off to go do some fishing. eddy, gabriela, donaldo and myself went with chichi and his son. the seas were flat so we went out to the bank to see if there were any tuna around.. it looked kind of dead.. but we caught some baits and put them out..we had a marlin come up and look after about 5 minutes but did not eat. about 10 minutes after that we saw a huge swirl behind the boat and the game was on. we had a huge tuna on a 30 wide..after about an hour and half it pulled us right into the line of a longliner and ended up breaking us off. anyway, the action was picking up.. there was a huge tree floating on the bank and the tuna were all over it.
we got 4 over 100# and a bunch of smaller ones. the biggest was about 140lbs, 4 rainbow runners, and a big dorado.
on the ride home we stopped by conteras and picked up 5 wahoo and a nice cubera.
fun day off! now my workers are so tired they needed to take a day off from there day off!

the foot picture, thats chicho.. he stepped on a nail and got an infection.. after two weeks he still cant walk yet....
