La Manta report(costa rica)

just got this report from dave. they had 25 sail bites yesterday. (not sure how many they caught. mabe fishbluewater can help me out). fishing looks like it is really starting to pick up!

my dad. who is already in CR(jaco) caught 4 sails and a 200lb black. the other two boats that the guys in his group were fishing with each caught ten sails. a few days ago my dad talked to a friend fishing in los suenos, he CAUGHT 26 sails.. fishing seems to be getting better and better. my friend brad regan and i leave saturday morning w/ our familys. i cant wait

Hey just wanted to update what Jake already reported up here. This is Dave's Report from Quepos, Costa Rica.

"Today was the second day sportfishing out of Quepos, Costa Rica for the Guys from Wyoming. First I would like to thank Bobs wife Sherry for a great 50th Birthday present. His friends Bill Mason, Jerry Dollard, And Paddy Mason are grateful as well. A good time was had by all. Today we decided to head south to check out what the fleet had been doing. There were fish everywhere and we must have had 25 bites but couldn't get any of them to eat and until 3pm the only thing we had a solid hookup on was about a 150 lb porpoise that tried to steal our live bait, Lucky for both of us he jumped off after the third jump. Then Paddy nailed this nice Bull Dolphin and we called it a day. Thanks guys and good luck next week on the Mar I !!!"
