Any word on the bite out of Los Suenos. I just got back from Isla Mujeres and had a great time as usual. I am heading down in March to Los Suenos. Looking for any reports.
400lbs black, 500lbs blue, 750 mako, sail on the fly, 750 tiger, 150 yellowfin, 500lbs bluefin
The bite out of Los suenos itself has been slow....Most of the fish have come from the south. Some boats are making the long run down, about 80 miles. But it is worth it with as many as 20 - 60 shots a day with some blues and yellowfin mixed in.

Costa Rica is great you should love it. Just be smart though, like traveling to any foriegn country don't leave things out or luguage in your car it will walk. I tell people do the same aboard taht you would in any major U.S. city and you'll have a great time. To be honest, I think Cr is safer than here. But, you don't want to be the one to have a great trip go bad.
As for the fish, it is hard to say. I am out of Golfito and those fish were rigth at the mouth of the Golfo Dulce for over a week and started to move up towards Cano island. But, they have seemed to stop. The curretns here are different than the east coast. East caost everything goes from south to north and the fish follow. ere the currents can change direction adn so can the fish. Either way, if you have a good boat you should have good fishing. Got to remember, most places in the world 4-6 sails a day is great . Here it is average to bad.
I am a little spoiled, just coming back from Isla Mujeres a week ago. We release 40+ sails in two days. I just have always wanted to catch some pacific fish. So Costa Rica here I come. Thanks for the advice. Tight lines.
