GUATEMALA QUICKIE

12/20 LB. BILLFISH CHALLENGE

Down and Dirty Format

BOAT/TEAM WITH THE MOST POINTS WINS!

Serious fishermen are invited to join Capt. Jimmy Loveland and good friend Capt. Ronnie Hamlin as they stage the ABMT’s first tournament in the Pacific. We are on the road to the World Series Of Big Game Fishing (WSBGF) and this event will help us become established in a third region of the globe. We hope you’ll join us!

WHEN IS THIS EVENT? May 16, 17 & 18, 2011 WHERE WILL IT BE HELD? Casa Vieja Lodge

· Rules – There are no registered anglers. Anyone on the boat

may pick up the rod as long as the fish is caught by IGFA rules.

Sailfish on 12 lb. 100 points. Blues/Blacks on 12 or 20 = 500 points.

· Observers will be supplied by the tournament.

· Prizes – Cash and Tackle Prizes. Top prize is free entry into

2011 ABMT “Boy Scout” Tournament for up to 4 anglers (value $4900).

· Entry fee $1000.00. Includes Grandmaster’s Cocktail Calcutta Party and Awards Dinner. Grandmaster Ronnie Hamlin will preside over the Captain’s Kick Off/Calcutta Party. Contestants will decide the amount to be placed into the pots. 15% of Calcutta and Dailys will be equally split to benefit Ronnie’s local area school and Jimmy’s ABMT Marine Vocational Program (MVP).

· Cash, checks or credit cards are accepted. Checks are written out to VI Council, Boy Scouts of America.

This is intended to be a ‘down and dirty’ tournament between serious fishermen. Meaning everyone on the vessel is fishing for the “boat” and may the best contestants win based on both skill and luck! Potential World Records may be boated and will count for release points if the fish weighs enough to become a potential record and if the angler’s signed application is turned over to the tournament committee for submission to IGFA.
