The fishing continues to be sporadic but what lacked in quantity surely was made up in quality. Captain Marciel had Herb Gordon and his group down from Va. Beach. The fleet has been heading way off in search of blue water. When they did find a small sliver they were rewarded with a Blue on the left Moldcraft yellow and black 4-eye teaser. The 450lb blue made a brief appearance and then disappeared. Capt. Marciel went into a turn but the fish didn't resurface. They thought they had missed their opportunity when the fish returned to the same teaser. This time they had a mackeral pitch bait waiting for the blue and he found it irristable. A long battle ensued and the crew finally subdued the fish. Unfortunetly the fish was tailwrapped but the crew made a long effort to revive the fish and finally were able to release it. Later they had a double sail come up but sancochoed both and also missed a few sails. Sounds like the fleet also had a sporadic bite with a blue marlin or two sighted. Intensity also released a blue marlin.
