Capt. Erik Lorentzen, files this report for the 2009 Father and Son tournament held this past weekend 19-20-21 June at Casa Vieja Lodge in Guatemala.

First day – 19 June:

Cañaso 19-12-8 and missed a small blue

We were all fishing within 15 miles of the marina and within eyesight of each other. Water is beautiful, lots of dorados.

Second day – 20 June:

Cañaso 3-3-1

Release 10-10-5

Intensity 19-14-5

Finest Kind 10-5-5

Seas were 5-7 ft, with heavy bands of rain moving through. Seas picking up to 6-8 and an occasional 10 footer. We called the 2nd day at 12 o'clock.

Weather report calling for higher winds tomorrow.
