DR report from Reel tight

When I left off on my last report the BETSY was pulling in with 10 flags flying. Their day truley was remarkable catching 10 out of 18 bites and seeing over 20 blues. The next day they caught 8 out of 11. I fished a half day with the PESCADOR and we went 3 for 3 and raisde another. On Sunday we were 5 for 8 as well as the BETSY. The Betsy did not fish an Monday but we caught 2 out of 7 and some really big dorados. Ralph had to leave Tuesday afternoon so we just went out front in the morning and dropped for Swordfish. We were back to the dock by noon with one 150lb swordie, AWESOME.

Nice report. The fishing there can be down right amazing at times. Whites that are about as agressive as it gets, have had a few try to pull the rigger down attacking a squid chain. Big blues from time to time. Had one blue about 650+ eat a 40lb yellowfin that we were cranking in right off the transom. Good bottom fishing, plenty of wahoo and dorado. And the nightlife... sometimes its hard to wake up the next morning. What marina did you run out of? Punta Cana?

congrats Squid,
benn offshore a couple of days last week, in front of bavaro and off macao we got skunked with dorados the first day, we did not want to even see them, customer been behind his first white of his fisherman's life, but we run into an school after an other.
wednesday we've been off punta cana and front of the Faro, best area wednesday and thursday been the 27fathom shallow front of punta cana, emty til 2:30PM and then one after an other of the whites including 2 double hitters.

great report. sounds like some really nice fishing
