    The dorado are on fire!

The dorado are on fire! Our crew said at the moment it is hard to fish for anything else. When you get to a fishy area the dorado are all over your baits. Average size is 20-30lbs but several 50lbs.+have been caught. If you ever wanted to get a world class or even possibily a fly or line class record nows the time in Southern, Costa Rica.

Right now we need them to thin out some to see how the sailfish bite really is! We have gotten several in the last week! Pura Vida!

Where are they at and what direction are they headed thums? I haven't been able to swing a complete day on the water recently and have only been out to Cano for a couple hours of deep jigging and popping.

Am looking to head your way Saturday and Sunday....would love to get into some dorado on the long rod.

    CF,

Don't steal all our fish! Just kidding. I don't have exact numbers I am state side but our crew has been fishing down towards Burica at the moment. About 15 miles off.

Burica is a bit far off for me. Would like to fish down that way at some point though. Will be heading towards La Chancha and Salsipuedes this weekend. A boat out of Sierpe landed a black estimated at 750 lbs. yesterday in the same areas. He hooked it working a school of small YFT. They fought it for 8 hours on 50 lb. and didn't return to port until 12 last night....pretty intense!

Wow! Nice fish. We've seen some hugh ones up there in the past. La Chancha has always been a favorite for us! Might have to start running up on the next trip. Got to be a hike for you .
