We just got back from a week of fishing in Tamarindo. It was nice when we got there but the weather kicked in for the rainy season. We did manage to catch a few fish, we were fishing on the Salsa and Cyotoe 3. It was a group of 16 sponsored by the Sportsman's Magazine. We hooked up on several mahi, 2-3 blacks (none to the boat) 1 big blue and lot of little skippys which we slow trolled for reef species. The big catch was a 40-50 lb Cubera Snapper... Which was eaten while there. All in All a good trip, it was a little on the rough side and it could have been a little drier... but all the same nice to get away.
