I have heard that the marlin bite was real good last week and that the sailfish have started to turn on as well. I'll get a better report for you and repost as soon as I talk to my captain down there and find out how he did yesterday and today.
That is usually a really good time of year for fishing down there. The rain has stopped and the water has cleared up by then. So the fish should be thick!! I'll keep you posted as to what Dave has been Catching.
Yeah I run his website and Paypal account for him, I've known him for about 10 years and have been going down and fishing with him pretty much every year. Dave is a great guy and really does his best to catch fish and have a good time.
Here a short video from the last time I was down there with him.
Dave hasn't been fishing much lately he has been working on His boat the LaManta and another boat he will be running the Reel Pleasure. He is getting both of them ready for season. But the reports that he got from other captains is that they have been catching few sailfish here and there along with some nice sized Tuna and Dorodoes. The Marlin bite that was Hot last week seams to have slowed down a bit this week. I'll keep you posted as I get more reports.
