Central America, Carribbean coast
Looking for tips. Best times of year, magic lures helpful hints etc...I am fishing mostly out of Roatan. There is not a lot of info out there about Honduras. Anything is appreciated.

You'll need to try and get some good info from the locals. I doubt you'll get much here. Couple weeks ago there were a lot of Marlin over here.

I have fished the West End tournament. I saw everybody fishes the same for marlin. I have had good luck with snapper, dogtooth and black. I was wondering about when the yellowfin roll in. I was told in the summer. It seems like you have dorys and battlewagons, not a whole lot in between.
Who are sailfish so hot just north with the Yucatan and so hot just south but nor here! It is hard to figure whats what so that I can dial something in.

Tuna or Snapper? Sailfish, not sure I've seen more than one around here in my lifetime but have never hooked up. I think I need to get me some ballyhoo/ilander rigs and try harder.

Was wondering about the yellowfin tuna bite
do you see ballyhoo around Utila?

Hi!
I'll be in Utila on Xmas week. I'm mostly a Florida flats fisherman (redfish on kayak) but love offshore trolling or deep sea fishing. I'm thinking about bringing my typical Florida flats tackle box (Tampa bay) to Utila.
I'd like to go kayak fishing, casting my superspook (go anywhere lure, right?) or maybe find a boat to go offshore.
Any suggestions, recommendations on color and size lures?
Thanks!
