Wednesday Night Trout SLAM 8-20-08

I decided it was time to make a night trip to see what was going on since its been slow in the daytime. Capt. Joel "BigRed" Wakeland and Ryan "Fishing Machine" Young joined me for a awesome trout slam. We were greeted with slick calm seas when we hit the gulf, I knew it was going to be good. After arriving at my favorite spot, it only took two hours to put our 75 fish on ice. We started the night off busting them on topwater baits in the slick calm water. Sure is awesome to watch the trout hit the bait!!!! Once we got them really going we switched over to the tandem rigged plastics. We stayed an extra hour scouting out some other spots catching fish at every location. Nothing better than a good night-time SLAM, never had a drop of sweat fall!!! Its definitely that time of year to hit them at night. If you want in on this great action, call me to book your trip. I will be running night trips thru the second week of Sept.
