Sunday was the day for wade fishing shell with 4-anglers and full-limits of trout being fooled by soft plastic Norton lures. Roach was the best color. The top water bite is rebounding back. This week calls for a busy one, with 15-17 anglers in each evening. I want to thank our team 9-full time guides at the lodge and our customers for the business this October.
Strange morning off Harbor Rd. Bite at 7:30 was fair, then turned off at 8:00am and was quiet till 11:00am when I gave up. I'll try again today. Last week was real good thursday and Friday, I caught 4 redfish 3 black drum ,1 17" trout and 1 Sheepshead. Thanks for the report, I live in Seadrift and wade here.
