Bay Flats Lodge Report

The lodge hosted an afternoon session with 7-boats on Tuesday and props go out to Captain David for putting his crew on 30-trout while working structure in San Antonio Bay. They were anchored up using live shrimp from the boat. Captain Harold's crew took 1st place while wade fishing with TTF plum chartreuse Trout Killers rigged with 1/8 oz heads and a BFL65ML rod. According to Todd C "Several party members lost some huge trout while trying to work them back in." Todd also stated, "I cannot believe all the boats did this well after the front that blew in Monday evening."

The weather forecast for Seadrift on Wednesday is calling for partly cloudy, highs in the lower 80s inland...in the mid 70s coast. South winds 10 to 15 mph becoming southeast 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Water temps have dropped to 67 degrees. Only 8% of the moon is illuminated. Wednesday we have the same group fishing for a half day session, this evening the lodge host 12 guests. Reports to follow...
