[Fishing Report]

Roger with his first deer of 2011It's that time of year wehn Roger likes to sneak out of the boat and head to the woods for a little deer hunting. This year, the season got off to a great start when Roger managed to knock down this 191 lb. whitetail. We are fishermen first, but we sure do like to hunt deer as well!

Nice striperSpeaking of fishing, we are still catching good fish on Pickwick Lake. This time if year we always manage to catch some large fish, although the numbers are less than in the spring and summer. We also catch some different species this time of year too. If you like to catch stripers, they're in Pickwick too! The lake is beautiful all year long, so a trip to Pickwick will be enjoyable anytime you can make it here. we are already booking trips for the spring and summer of 2012 and the prim-season months are filling up fast. It's a good idea to book early so you can get the days that you want.
