3-1-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** 54 degrees really ain't dat cold but when you go from 82 degrees one evenin to 54 degrees da next mornin dat difference of 28 degrees with a 20 mile per hour North wind with clouds down on da Bayou its Frickin Cold. it will put a Chill on you, ****, you tink you back in da tree stand. i want top Thank Tom T. and guest for fishin with me today. Tom & Ron is right dare from da Big City but Steve Z. i tink he's from parts unknown, no just kiddin. i tink he's a movie star of some kind. now dem boys came down yesterday evenin and spend da night down here on da Bayou so dis mornin dey didn't have to drive nowhere, dey could have rolled down da stairs and fell right in da boat. when i backed da boat down dis mornin i could see da water was a lil low and da wind was humpin it allready but i all ready new it was blowin cuz when da lil front came thur it woke me up, it was dry but it came thur all at once. when it changed from da South to da North 2 puffs and it was wide open. now i'am knot gonna say dey was late but we left da dock after good day light. Steve was down 1st. den Ron and a good while after Tom tried to sneak in like he was in da Marina all da while. we had a bump-pee ride out. we was wind burned before we got to our 1st. stop. i speared us down and got everybody set up with da reel handle on da right side for dem, now after da 1st. cast i new my day was gonna be pretty good, i new Tom could fish but da other 2 dis was dare 1st. trip with me. got dem set up and was just feelin dem out. now it wasn't long before Ron drew 1st. blood on a nice redfish, everybody was glad for him on dat 1st. fish and den on da next cast he drew blood again, dey wasn't quite as happy for him on dat second fish cuz dat got Tom and Steve on da move and i'am pretty sure it was Steve dat hollared ROTATE, you in da back move to da front and me and Tom is movein to da back. dey did catch a few fish on da ROTATE but Ron still had da biggest, i told Tom & Steve dat Ron had da first, da biggest and da most after dat fish redfish hit da net and if y'all would have caught as much fish as Ron we would have 6 redfish instead of 2. we caught all our fish on dead shrimp under a slidein sinker, we did try a cork a few times but it was blowin to hard for dat where we was. da slidein sinker was da ticket for us. we moved around as much as we could tryin to stay close to lee shore but dat was hard. we bounced around more den we wanted to. on every stop we caught a couple of fish and on some stops dey was under size. late in da third quarter i found some pretty clear water and dey had a few fish mixed in with da clear water. we caught our limit of Black Drums and Steve was da man with dem drums but he don't know dis so don't say nothin to nobody, Tom and Ron was lettin him have da best spot cuz he was dare guest. man, he taught he was doin all dat on his own. Tom told me earl-lee-er to put him where ever i tink was da best spot in da boat and Ron agreed with him. dem 2 Dudes was a very good Host, so what if Steve didn't know all dat was planned just for him. Tom & Ron eached played dare part out to a tee, just like a Movie, we had all da actors and dey never missed a que. all in all it was a good time for everybody on da boat even if da camera's wasn't rollin. ** 2-27-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** It was 64 degrees when i left da house dis mornin with a good 20 plus S.W. wind. Hey Baliey S. you tryin to take Colin's place on da fish catchin, come on y'all remember Colin his AKA is ( Baby ) so i'am told. he was da one dat all most came in 5th. with 4 people fishin on dare last trip in Dec. 2010. i want to Thank Baliey S. and guest for fishin with me today. he had his Dad and his Dad's Linda and da Dog from North Carolina, i tink dats da right state and YES, you heard me right. dey brought a Dog on da boat but da best ting was da Dog didn't know he was a Dog. y'all know around here when you put a dog in da Boat da 1st. ting he does is **** all over da boat but dis Dog never **** nowhere all day long. y'all know my lil sayin if you can't be da part at least play da part and Miss Linda played da part lil a Pro. she watched everybody fishin for a lil while den she picked out a fishin stance and went out on her own Flippin, Pitchin, Castin and Jerkin even when she had No Bite but she looked good in all her actions. her castin was a lil on da lets practice a lil more before my next trip, Ripp tell me what you tink, should i practice a lil more before my next trip or what. now dat right dare is a loaded question and now i have to be very carefull how i need to word dis next sentence, No Mam, you doin just fine ( Yea Right ) i ought to be safe with dat answer. dat ought to do it for me. yea, i might be a lil slow but i'am knot stupid. we caught all our fish on dead shrimp under a slidein sinker along with all da rocks and see-ment wall and like last time i'am pretty sure Steve came in 1st. place once again with all categories, all categories, ( Rocks, see-ment walls, pilings ) my man Baliey was dare on da boat but its like he never showed up to fish, hey Baliey whats up with dat **** Dude, unless he was playin Da Hostis with Da mostis, now if dat was da case he done a Great job. i tink he might have just inched ahead of his Dad right at da end of our trip. i'am gonna give him third place right behind Miss Linda and right ahead of his Dad. now Steve, dey Luckie dey brought him along once again. dey can't beat up on Baliey to much cuz he's da cook tonight for supper, sounds like he had it planned out pretty good to, even down to da Dog dat don't know he's a dog. from what i saw today with dat Dog on da boat he's gonna be sittin on a chair at da dinner table with its own plate just like everybody else. well i got to get off dis here machine cuz i tink its gettin low on ink. like all ways keep a tight line while da bait is in da water. ** 2-26-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Short and Sweet, Dats what i'am talkin about right dare. man, if all our trips could be like dis one. luckie Dan showed up Drunk cuz we wasn't out long enough for him to get drunk. i want to Thank Dan H. for fishin with me today, his other 2 Buddies couldn't make da trip, when we left da dock dey was still in da Bar. Dan was workin on 2 hours sleep for about 1 1/2 days just partyin away in da city. how he made it down on time is till a mystery to me. he told me as soon as he caught his 5 redfish we could go, boy did i like dat. we was 5 miles from da dock and dat wasn't enough time for him to nap, now it took two stops about 75 yards apart for Dan to catch his 5 redfish. he told me lets make a block so he could get a lil sleep before it was time to Party again. he did call me when he made it back to da city and i was glad to here he made it to his room. he caught a bunch of 15 inch fish but da 5 we kept was all over 22 inches and his Biggest was about 10 pounds. da Sun wasn't even up good when he caught his last redfish. every cast he had a fish or a bite and i mean every cast. now i got to say when we stopped to fish he was ready but he had a lil Beer comein out of him, he was sweatin out his night of hard partyin and he was payin for it. he said dat was da best Fishin trip he ever been on, i told him we do dis all da time ( yea right, HA HA ). gotta run for now. ** 2-25-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Hey Wes, was dat a good fishin day or what, Dats what I'am talkin about. i want to Thank Wes A. and guest from parts unknown for fishin with us today, well i tink some was from Arkansas and some was from Jackson Ms. when it gets to 80 degrees in February in da deep South dats a good day right dare cuz let me told y'all February could be very Cold and Wet down here on da Bayou. Wes and crew is in town for a Bachelor party for Jeffery. what a nice smooth ride we had out dis mornin and it stayed pretty calm all day for us. Jeffery fished with me today and he had a pretty good day, Andrew and Wes all so fished with me, Andrew all so had a good day of marsh redfishin, now i got to be carefull with dis next sentence have to word it just right knot to hurt anybody feelins, y'all know me i don't like startin any ****, Wes was a really really good Host cuz he let his 2 Buddies catch 98 per cent of da fish. now dats a good buddy right dare. everybody had a good day of fishin, Lil Craig & Kory Joe all so done well. Wes took a couple of pictures out dare on da water and i took some group pictures when we got back to da dock. 8 fishermen in all is in town for da fishin but i tink a few more is comein in town for da partyin. we caught most of our fish on plastic cocahoes just castin and retrievein. Yes, we tried some dead shrimp under a cork and under a slidein sinker and caught a few fish under da slidein sinker. it was a Great day to be out on da water. dem Boys from Arkansas has been puttin up with some very cold weather dis winter and dis 80 degree day was just right for dem, all of dem got a good bit of sun to, i bet a few of dem is feelin da effects right now as i make dis here report. i tink tomorrow evenin dey gonna Burl up some Craw-fish and fry some fresh redfish for supper. some of dem Boys is in for a good treat. like all ways keep your Bait wet.
