Fishing Adventure by Ripp 1-31
**** 1-31-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Had 2 good days of Fishin weather but we gettin ready for Winter to hit us again, dey talkin about a few Snow Flurries for usThursday mornin, now i tink its a slim chance of dat cuz all da stars has to line up just right for us to get in on da snow flurries and we all know with da weather nothin happens like dey talk about especially dat many days ahead. now dey get all fired up when dey talk about snow flurries on da South side of da Lake. dis mornin would have allso been a good mornin to fish, we had a lil fog down here on da Bayou dis mornin with a temperature of 55 and da high today will be close to 70 degrees. now when ever we have fog on da Bayou its a 99 chance out of a hundred dat da winds is calm, no wind at all. its allso a good chance dat when you pull up to your fishin spot dey gonna have some NATS or plenty NATS but allso da Fishin is use-er-lee good, Yea sometime you just got to put up with da Nats. my trip got Cancled for Saturday but just about everybody i saw come in by Joe's had some nice fish, some had Specks & Reds. never spent much time by Joe's da last couple of months cuz of Huntin season and dey tried to over serve me, can y'all imagine dat ****, Ripp bein over served by Joe's. now i started to do some light maintenance on da Boat gettin it ready for Spring Fishin, i took everyting off of it in late Oct. dat we needed for da BP Earl spill, it was a lot of stuff to take off and it was a lot of stuff to put back into da boat but it was someting dat needed to be done. me and my crew is ready and geared up for da upcoming fishin season now dat Deer Season is right on da very end, matter of fact today 1-31-2011 is da last day for us in Central Ms. it is now time to call and book your Spring, Summer, and Fall Fishin trips, call early and get da dates you want. ** 1-27-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Still cold down here on da Bayou, 32 degrees dis mornin but No wind. suppose to leave da dock at 9 o'clock with some News people. dey want me to take dem where da earl was to see if dey still have some and what effects its havein on da marsh. i told dem of course dey still gonna have some cuz from da day it hit da marsh to da day we all gone to meet our maker dey gonna have traces of earl in da marshes of South Louisiana, from Florida to Texas earl tar balls have popped up along da coast and nobody knows when dey will stop. i have done some research on other earl spills and all of dem still have had traces of earl for years, now some places have more den others because da earl might have been trapped under other objects. lots of tings have died and or still diein and some wildlife and plant life will never be da same and some will never be seen again. we here on da Bayou don't know what will happen to us down da road, we pretty sure dis year and next will be OK for our Fishin because of da Great Spawnin we been havein in years past. now dis is my Opinion on da situation. da next 2 years we should be OK goin by what we see on da surface but we don't know whats goin on under da surface, we don't have a clue of how much earl is on da bottom and between da surface and da bottom. we do know out where da spill was dare lots of earl still on da bottom and between da waters but we don't how much is comein in. if we were to get a small storm out dare in da Gulf with a tidal surge and we get a high tide we don't know what will be forced upon us from below da surface, we might knot get da next 2 years of good fishin. our biggest ting is we still don't know what da people from around da country is tinkin about da earl spill, lots of people i talked to taught New Orleans was covered in earl and if dey tink da seafood isn't good to eat or catch dey knot comein down to da Bayou and no matter how much testin is done you ain't changein dare mind. YES, we did good with BP but we worked for dat money and it ain't gonna last forever. everybody would like to get back to what dey was doin before da BP GULF EARL SPILL but **** happens, dats water under da bridge now and we must go foward and we are but right now its all darkness in da tunnel. like i told y'all in all my other Earl reports Da Reel Cajun Navy is water people, we will knot quit, we will survive and we here till da bitter end. ** 1-24-2011** ****** HUNTIN REPORT BY Ripp ****** I Hope everybody had a Happy and Safe New Year. Well its another Deer season gone by, long time to come but goes by quick. it was a good one for me. we had some good cold weather to hunt dis year. we still have about 7 days left to hunt with da muzzle loader but i'am home to fish for a few days. now dat da Deer season is gone for me its time to get back to Fishin. right now its been some pretty good Fishin gone on. YEA, its been cold down here on da Bayou to but some people is still willin to brave da cold for dare limit of Redfish. all so i hope dis here Machine is fixed for 2011 cuz in da latter part of 2010 it went to **** and cuz it was huntin season i never could get on da same page with da man who was workin on it. da times i did come home to fish he couldn't work on it but we did work it out and its runnin like a Deer right now. Man i can't beleive another Deer season is gone by. right now our Fish Bookins are slow and i'am sure its cuz of Da BP Earl Spill cuz a lot of people still tink da Bayou is still covered in earl and dats knot ture at all. our waters come out of da earl spill better den we taught. right now we don't know what kind of summer we gonna have with our bookins but i can tell y'all dis we will have a Summer of Good Fishin so come on down to da Bayou cuz da water is fine along with da Fishin. Hope to see y'all on da water. Ripp
