**** 2-2-2012 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Man can y'all beleive dis weather for Feb. anytime it gets in da mid 70's in Feb. you know da fishin is gonna be good, high water, good and calm and warm weather, can't beat dat for fishin. i'am still wonderin what happened to Jan. it was like a blur to me, i mean it passed me by like a freight train. another huntin season has come and gone all so and i never could really get caught up in da season dis year, my knee hunt me pretty steady for da 1st. 2 weeks along with my lower back so i couldn't walk or sit for long. i got screwed up for youth season with my lil grand-son and missed openin weekend and dat pretty much was it for him and me, made a few more hunts and saw a couple of nice bucks a few times and he never could get da deer in da scope, 3 times dat happened, 2 times on nice bucks and once on a big doe. he was up set with his self cuz he got to watch one of dem nice bucks walk away from us at about 35 yards broad side, now i know i could have hit dat one with out a problem. i told him we gonna do much better next year. i all ready marked da youth season down for 2012, i all so need to make a weekend or 2 before so we can scout out a couple of good places. well it rain pretty good down here yesterday evenin while i was tryin to pressure wash da house and i kept a goin cuz i new if i stopped it was all over, i done about half and my shoulders and back was startin to bother me so i new i had to finish it, beside dat dey had an old tree back dare i removed last year but didn't put nothin in da hole and YES, of course i stepped right in it while lookin up while i was pressure washin and of course it was da knee dats been hurtin me, knot good. man let me told y'all gettin old is for da birds, you can't beat youth and you can't beat good health. my Bride has me a nice Lil Honey Do list for me and i all ready got one of da big tings done. she asked me if i saw how green da back da house was and i told her No and i told her if she didn't go back dare she wouldn't see da Green either, NO dat didn't work and Yes i pressure washed da house like she wanted. she's tellin me now its knot to late to start on another one so i guess i got to get off dis here machine. ** 1-29-2012 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Please, I would still like everybody to e-mail me twice times because of all da junk mail i'am bein flooded with, if i don't answer y'all with in 24 hours please try me again or call me at 504-689-2665, Thanks. ** Can y'all beleive dat another Deer season has passed us by and i still have lots of hunts left in me, i didn't get to hunt much when da season started so i'am tinkin about callin and tell da Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries and tell dem just dat and see if dey left me run my season till mid Febuary, i tink dat would be da right ting for dem to do for me and i'am sure dey gonna want to take a vote on it but dats OK. we was half off on our camp books with our Deer kill dis year, dem deer just didn't play fair with us dis season. we had so many acorns in da woods and beleive it or knot last week when i was up dare dey still was fallin pretty good in some places along a few of our creeks and dats where i seen da most sign and still dey was hittin dem acorns way after dark. in da start of da season our camera was catchin plenty pictures between 7 pm and 10 pm den dey went to 11 pm to 3 am dem dudes are slick. i taught i might be able to make da last couple of days but dat ain't gonna happen for me. guess y'all know we ain't been on da water much dis year so far and hope tings are better dis year for everybody, i know our fishin trips was down a lil from 2009, now 2010 was pretty much stopped after May 22nd. for us cuz of da BP Earl spill but dats all behind us now. from what i saw down here on da bayou everybody was down on dare fishin trips, just like deer season last years fishin season is History to. now we are takein Bookins for our 2012 Fishin Season so don't let your fishin days get picked by somebody else, call now and get on da books. gotta run for now but will talk to y'all soon and don't forget if y'all don't here from me in 24 hours please e-mail us again or call us at 504-689-2665.
