10-23-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Now dats da way i like to do a Red Fishin Trip. i want to Thank Albert G. and guest from da great state of Texas for fishin with me today. now we left da dock a lil later den we been doin cuz da tide and da Bite been runnin around mid mornin so we wasn't gonna miss nothin. dey was right on time and dey was all dressed for someting other den fishin. when dey stepped out of da car all 3 of dem had some what i would call dressed cloths on and i new from lookin at dem dey didn't know what end of da rod da bait was gonna be on, WRONG. dem dudes could fish, i felt bad after tinkin dat about dem after i saw how dey could handle a rod, wasn't dare 1st. rodeo but it was dare 1st. trip with me. now we started out with Gold Spoons and once i handed dem da rods i didn't have to do anyting else but drive da troll motor, Shit dey even netted da fish, i did raise da fish box cover for dem a few times. let me told y'all, i was lost on dat boat today. now when we got to our 1st. stop da shads was on top of da water and dem Green Trout was chasein dem, we caught about 13 pretty good bass before dem reds showed up but once dem reds popped up dem Bass left da scene. our biggest fish today was right at 11 pounds and it was foul hooked and caught by da tail. now dat ting done some fightin and pullin before we landed it. we got some nice pictures of dem back at da dock with dare limit of reds on da fish board. gotta run, Da Rippulator

** 10-22-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** What you tink about dat Mud-Cat. i want to Thank Mud and guest from Ms. for fishin with me today. Mud-Cat been here a couple of times but his guest was on dare 1st. trip down to da bayou to pass a good time with us. now dem boys came in late last night, tink dey told me dey got by da house for about 10:15 pm or so but dey was all up and waitin on da dock when i pulled up dis mornin to get dem. we didn't have much wind when i backed da boat dis mornin but da tide was really low, we got dis big cold front but we didn't get any South wind before da front so da water didn't come up before da cold front but it sure went down durein da front. now we had some pretty strong gusty N.W. wind for 2 1/2 days and dat pushed da water right out of here. we got to our 1st. spot dis mornin and da water was knot movein at all, we started off with dead shrimp under a slidein sinker and caught just a couple of keeper fish but dem rocks was bitein a lot better den da fish was. we didn't land any of dem rocks but dey was big, i know dat cuz dey kept poppin da line, good ting to cuz i don't tink i could have fit dem in da net. Shit, i tink we had 3 of dem rocks on at a time a couple of times. now Mud was bein a good host cuz he was tryin to let his guest catch da fish and let me told y'all he was doin a hella of a job. now after about 3 hours or so i didn't know if he was doin dat on purpose or if he just couldn't catch a fish but either way he made it look good. now Dad caught da most and da Biggest fish but Lil Man was right behind Dad on da fish catchin, Dad's big fish tipped da scales at a straight up 12 pounds, oh yea he was pleased with dat. Shit, we all was pleased with dat. Dad had to rest a bit after fightin da big fish, said his arm and shoulder was hurtin him. we didn't tink nobody was keepin score of da fish catchin but Dad was keepin count of da fish and he new how many fish everybody on da boat had, gotta love it. we got a couple of good group pictures of dem with dare fish back at da dock. i tink beside hookin dem fish we got Dad hooked all so cuz he was talkin about comein back in da spring with da rest of da Family, way to go Dad. talkin about goin i tink its time for me to go all so. ** 10-21-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Come on down to da Bayou cuz da water is fine but bring yourself a Big Coat cuz it done got COLD down here on da Bayou. man let me told y'all, when you goin down dat bayou at 40 miles per hour and da wind is blowin 25 miles per hour in your face, dey ain't no place to hide on dat boat. i don't know how you would figure out da wind chill factor other den its Frickin Cold. we been Luckie dat da Sun beens shinein on us. now it all ways seems colder on your skin den it is on dat 1st. good Cold Front. now da last couple of 3 mornins its been in da low 40's with a pretty good North or West wind. Yea, its been some nice sunrises but dey been kinda hard to see with dem tears in your eyes, dat cold wind make your eyes tear up right now. i want to Congratulate my Grand-Daughter Layla for makein Princess for da JV Home Comein Football Team, me and Maw-Maw was very proud of her. now it looks like i just put dem off to school for dare 1st. day of school in da 1st. grade and look at dem now. dis was da 1st. year dey do dis so she will remain da very 1st. Princess for Fisher High School, Go Layla. i want to Thank Hank and guest for fishin with me today, my crew cancled so Hank and crew took dis trip on 12 hour notice. now it was a lil rough gettin to where i wanted to go but it was calm when we got dare and because we was runnin a tad late dem reds and Green Trout was waitin on us. my crew forgot about da bouncein we done gettin dare once dey saw all dem fish. da shads was on top of da water cuz da reds and Green Trout was pushin dem to da surface makein it easy for me to see plus dey was splashin da surface while chasein dare Breakfast, dey would have been much better off if dey would have stayed eaten dem shads instead of dem Gold Spoons. Hank and crew told me dey never saw anyting like dat in person before, dey only seen stuff like dat on TV. we had 3 big schools at one time up around us, 2 schools was in castin distance but da other one dat looked to be about 75 fish or more was about 100 yards away from us but dey had da water flyin everywhere. Hank tried to take a couple of pictures with his phone but dey never came out to good. we did get some good pictures of dem reds once dey was in da boat, dem reds was reel close by, like holdin distance close, gotta love it. ** 10-19-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Was dat a Bad Ass Cold front or what, when dat ting moved thur here right before dark i tink it could have blowed da Hole Billy goat away much less da horns off of it. man, dat was some big puffs of wind when da front came thur, was no mistakein when da front moved thur. our ride out wasn't bad at all cuz we ran da edges of da open water till we got to where we wanted to fish, now when you looked out over and around dem points you could see some pretty good waves with big white caps on top of dem. No, we didn't want No part of dat. now our crew was movein a lil slow dis mornin and i don't know if it was to much supper with dem adult drinks or if it was da cold weather. once again i want to Thank Moose R. even doe he didn't make da trip dis mornin and guest for fishin with us again today. dat wind kicked ass all night long and kinda died down a lil bit right around day break but den again about 9 am it cranked up again and right now at 3:30 pm its still kickin ass. we made it out for a lil while with no luck, right where we been fishin da water was still good but da fish wasn't dare, we never could get dem shads to come to da surface, we even tried with dead shrimp for a short time with no luck with dat either. got a few tings to do around da house here so i can't play with y'all no longer. ** 10-18-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** It sure was nice again dis mornin for fishin. what a nice smooth ride we had out to da fishin ground. i want to Thank Moose R. and guest for fishin with us today and again tomorrow. i all so want to Thank Tommy, Big Bubba & Jose for fishin with us again today. Mr. Moose and crew got in mid after noon and Mr. Moose was fixin supper for his crew, pretty sure he was fixin dem a Chicken Gumbo, da adult drinks was all ready ice down. it was just a light N.W. wind dis mornin but we had some heavy spot-tee Fog. now i don't tink we gonna have any Fog tomorrow cuz right now while i'am typein dis here report its blowin out da North West about 20 miles per hour ( 6:45 pm ) just a lil cool air feel right now, we did have a pretty good rain shower about 1 hour ago. we caught our reds pretty quick like dis mornin and we caught all of dem on Gold Spoons. didn't see much shads right at day break but with da fog & heavy clouds dem shads didn't want to come to da surface but once da Sun burned off da fog and da North wind moved dem clouds way South and dat warm Sun was hittin da water dem shads started to break da surface and dem Reds wasn't far behind dem. me and Lil Craig went one direction and Kory Joe with Tommy and crew went another but we soon had to call him over to our spot and before he got dare we was on our way in. he hit one lil school where we was but had to finish his limit up with dead shrimp, he said dem shads went down and da redfish went with dem. he told us he played around dare 30 minutes or more and never saw a shad on da surface. Yea, we was Luckie to be where we was when da fish was dare, its nice when you and da fish can be in da same place at da same time, good for everybody and da fish box to. gotta love it, Cha Ching. we got some nice group pictures of dem back on da dock with all da fish and my man Moose was ready for his picture cuz he had to catch a plane to St. Louis for more Business. check back with me tomorrow to see if dem Billy Goats still have Horns or if dat North wind blew dem off dare heads, dat must hurt right dare. Da Rippulator

** 10-17-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Dats what i'am talkin about right dare. i'am hopein we get one more day of good weather before dis big front moves in. today was a good day for us. i want to Thank Tommy S. and guest for fishin with us today and again tomorrow. 2 of dem is from Alabama and Jose is from here, dey been fishin together for years and years. dem boys drove in last night and was up and waitin on da dock when i pulled up dis mornin, now when i was pullin up i only saw 3 of dem cuz dare lil group is has all ways been 4 so when i docked da boat i asked dem where Archie was and dey told me he couldn't make da trip dis year. we had a good mess of Fog dis mornin but we made it out to da fishin ground OK, Imagine Dat. now we jump on dem Green Trout pretty quick again dis mornin with dem Gold Spoons and it was Big Bubba dat drew 1st. blood on da redfish, matter of fact it was Big Bubba dat drew blood on da second redfish to. now Tommy was a lil slow to catch his 1st. redfish but he wasn't da last to eat his 1st. sandwich. Jose was gettin a few hits but he to was slow to put his 1st. redfish in da boat. fishin dfat grass is tough and you have to be on your toes at all times. i told Tommy don't worry about a ting cuz da 1st. horse out da gate don't all ways cross da finish line 1st. now it wasn't till we started to fish with dead shrimp under a slidein sinker dat him & Jose caught dare 1st. redfish. dey was still a long ways behind Big Bubba but dey was makein a come back but Bubba was all so catchin dem on dead shrimp so dey didn't gain on him any but he didn't pull away from dem either. now i was pretty sure dey wasn't gonna catch him but you never know how da day will turn out cuz it ain't over till you pull up to da dock. now dey will be fishin with Kory Joe tomorrow cuz me and Lil Craig will be with Moose R. for da next 2 days. Gotta run, Da Rippulator
