*** 9-19-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Come on down to da Bayou cuz da water is fine, a lil Cold but fine. we got as wet as da fish today, matter of fact i taught we was a fish for a while. wasn't suppose to be dat bad but i guess Shit happens. i want to Thank Charlie B. and crew from parts unknown. it was a light drizzle when i backed da boat down dis mornin. now my crew wanted to leave a lil later den normal and i taught dat was gonna work out just fine cuz of da rain. now i new we was gonna get a lil rain cuz we left in it but what a down pour we got. it looked like it was gonna clear up but i was WRONG on dat. we got about 3/4 da way thur da Riggerlees when da 1st. down pour got us and it was a good one, i had 6 inches of water in da boat while we was runnin and y'all know dat water runs right out da back while i'am runnin. da second down pour got us right after we went thur Red Eye Cut and dat one had a lil lightin with it and we had no where to hide so i just pulled up in a side canal and parked on da bank till it passed and dis time i had to take my garbage can and bail out da boat cuz with da bow on da bank da drain holes was under water, kinda trickie tryin to bail out between lightin strikes. my crew was green on boat ridein, matter of fact one had never been in a reel boat, told me he been in a small boat with his kids in a park, da kind of boat dat has a lil bell on it and knot in a pond or lake either. now we was gone out dare to do a lil story on da BP Earl Spill and it affects to land and water. dey got to see what dey wanted and we caught one more rain squall on da way in but we never stopped, now even with all da rain gear we still was wet as fish and i never stopped dis time, it felt like lil bees stingin me in da face on da ride in, dey asked me if i do dis all da time and i told YES cuz when we goin fishin da rain doesn't matter to us cuz da fish is allready wet. ** 9-17-2011 ** ****** REEL FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Once again i want to Thank Bob R. and guest for fishin with me today. Mr. Bob is from Metairie La. and takes da time to take his 2 grown children along with da Grand-Kids, Great Grand-Kids and dare Husbands & Wives. all his Grand-Kids is grown up and married of course. Grand-Kids and Families are spread out over a few states but still pretty close by. Mr. Bob is in his mid 80's and is still goin like a Freight Train, he is non stop right now, he drives all over da country to see his Family, right now he is plannin a trip to Tx. to see his sister and some friends. man, if i could reach 85 and be in da shape dat Mr. Bob's is in dat would be Great. OK, when i backed da boat down dis mornin we had a light N.E. wind it looked like, now Mr. Bob was right on time like all ways so he got to see and talk with Doc Basse and brothers, Pork Chop and Kaya, NO dats knot dare reel name but dats pretty much all we know dem by. after his lil talk with da mornin crew dey loaded up and off we went and once i reached da Riggerlees i was right about da N.E. wind so dats gonna change our plan a lil bit right off da bat. now with me today is Doctor Chris his wife Jennifer who is Mr. Bob's Grand-Daughter and dared second Lil girl Maggie who is 6 1/2 years old ( a Lil Sweet-Heart ) and dis is her 1st. trip to be with me, now her Oldest sister was with me a few months back and Lil Miss Maggie new everyting her big sister done on da boat and she herself wanted to follow in her big sisters foot steps. we got to our 1st. stop and i got everybody set up with a dead shrimp under a slidein sinker and YES, Lil Maggie drew blood first with a nice Redfish and dat was her 1st. ever redfish and YES, we got some nice pictures of her with it. it was a slow mornin but it did pick up about mid-mornin and Miss Maggie caught da biggest redfish and she caught da most redfish but she did have a lil help, she was a reeler in, she wasn't much on keepin still and watchin her cork once we changed over to dem but she new once somebody had a fish on she could reel it in and dat was her game plan for da rest of da day. once she figured dat out she was nothin but Smiles and every fish she caught she wanted a pictured of it. now her Mom and Dad fished a lil bit but da main attention was on Lil Miss Maggie. she had Great day with Mom and Dad and with her Great Grand Dad. just like her big sister she had lots of stories to bring back to Mississippi and tell her 2 sisters and Grand parents. now on da way in i let Lil Maggie drive da boat in and she was a Happy camper with dat, she done a Great job to for only bein 6 1/2 years old. oh yea, we got some nice pictures of dem back at da dock with all Miss Maggie's fish hangin on da fish board. Great job Lil Miss Maggie. i tink dats a rap for me. Da Rippulator
