*** 2-17-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Man, was dat some nice Specks or what. hey Quack where you was, man, we could have used a lil help. i want to Thank Mark & Shannon for fishin with me today. caught a bunch of Specks, had very lil Fog and NO NATS, now dat lil combination right dare is a good day by itself. we been havein some early mornin Fog but today was pretty good. we had a good ride out cuz da wind was down and da lake was flat. it was 53 degrees when i left da house dis mornin. was shapein up to be a nice fishin day. our 1st. stop was a slow start but i was pretty sure as da sun got higher da better it would get so we went and make a few canals and caught a couple of redfish and when we got back to our 1st. stop dey had about 11 boats right where we had left from and Yes, dey was catchin specks, i know dat cuz as we was passin a couple of boats i seen dem reel in a few specks. we caught all our fish on Gulp stink baits or dem fake cocahoes, some was caught under a cork and some was caught with No cork. water was pretty good till da wind got up den it started to turn on us and cloud up. we still fightin dem dam water lillies, couple of months ago dey was green and goin back and forth with da wind and current, now dey dead and dey still goin back and forth with da wind and current, for some reason dey don't want to sink. we can put up with dem as long as we catchin fish. did i tell y'all Quack didn't come with us today, he told me he had some Business to tend to, Business over a Fishin trip with good company now dats hard for me to believe, all i know is he missed a good trip and you can't get dat back. gotta run for now. now is da time to start pickin out your fishin days den pick up dat phone and give us a call. ** 2-14-2011 ** ****** FISHIN ADVENTURES BY Ripp ****** Man, we was covered up with Snow at da New House in Bolton Ms. dis week, dats right Snow. got da call from our Friend Kenny E. to tell us about all da Snow dat was fallin. i know right about now lots and lots of people way up North and to our West and East is just Frickin tired of seein Snow but to us Deep down South people is was really nice to see. we got to da Bolton exit and we didn't see any sign of Snow anywhere and was a lil dispointed but when we got to da Golf course about 4 miles North of interstate 20 we started to see snow on da West side of da blacktop where da sun wasn't shinein and da closer we got to da House da more dey had. we are 10 miles North of interstate 20. now me and my Bride wasn't up dare for da Snow Fallin cuz all dat happened on Wednesday and we got up dare Thursday Evenin but dey still had about 6 inches on da ground. it was every where, it was a Frickin Winter Wonder Land, da roof on da House and da 3 sheds was covered up, ice sickles was hangin from every where. when you walked on da ground it crunched, da road to da house was still pretty iced up and we had to drive very very slow goin down hill. when we got to da driveway da snow covered everyting but da gravel driveway, da cedar trees and pine trees still was covered up and dare branches was hangin low, what a pretty sight to see, we wished we could have been dare for da Snow fallin. we did get lots of pictures and Video's so we can show da Grand-Kids. Big Craig and Karry made it up dare on Friday evenin to join us and Karry didn't even make it to da house, see got off at da drive-way with her Camera and walked thur all da trees takein pictures. we had Deer tracks all over da yard, front and back and we got to see some Does feedin 2 nights in a row about 10 feet from our front room windows. we still had a lil snow up in da woods yesterday ( Sunday ) but was all gone today. we wished we could have been dare with da Grand-Kids to see it fallin, maybe next time.
