Dularge Trout Slam 8-9-08

Dohn LaBiche and Bill Smith joined me today for a great day of "catching". We could not have asked for a better day than today. The guys put the hurt on the yellow-mouths today as they were hungry and willing to eat up our tandem rigged plastics. Dohn had a blast fishing top-water baits early this morning catching plenty of trout. He also had the fight of his life, catching his biggest red fish ever. The big bull put up one heck of a fight too, it took a good 30 minutes with the light tackle. I think the guys caught almost every species in the gulf today!!!! Specks, white trout, red fish, flounder, sharks, blue fish, lady fish, hard heads, gaff tops, channel mullet....... The guys had a great time filling up the box. The trout today averaged 13-21 inches. Great fishing with you guys. Thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for setting up the trip.
