Went offshore Sunday the 5th and it was tuna time!!. It was rough going out and stayed that way for most of the day. However, on my 33 Grady it was comfortable. We went south and fished mostly around the 400 line in 68 degree water. The crew was Mike, Stan, Jonathan and his better half Laura. The first fish was a real nice yellowfin but we lost him at the boat after several runs. After that it was on. We had 3 on at one time four different times, 4 on at one time, and then 7 on at one time. On the 3's we only got 1 in each time, 2 on the four and 3 on the 7. we ended up the day with 6 yellowfin with 3 around 40 and 3 blackfin. We ended up the day in the albacore and probably caught 7 of them. It was a great day and thanks to the crew for all the hard work and fun.
