A good catch made by Capt. Scott while we were away at the baseball tournament at the end of June. Thought you might enjoy. Our last couple of days were a little less exciting. The dolphin fishing had slowed and we spent the time looking tuna. On the 7th the action was good if you could get the big lick. We caught three yellowfins for the day. We did loose several other tuna and had three or four wahoo get after us. Tough luck that will not get us everyday. Yesterday the weather slowed us down. A marginal forecast the ended up being on the worst end. We did fish in the morning and caught two nice yellowfins and several good sized dolphin. Better conditions should have produced good dolphin action and a little more time would have produced a better catch of tuna. Our group was satisfied and I was glad to see the increase in action. We moved our trip for today back until tomorrow hoping to hit the best weather.

Dolphin fishing was slow again today for the fleet but the quality bites picked up. Our day started early with a few yellowfins in the morning. We caught five for the day with a couple of nice wahoo and a gaffer dolphin. Weather was great and our gang has some nice fish for the table. There were also a few scattered white marlin and sailfish in the fleet. Thanks and hope everyone enjoyed the trip.
