Friday's Report! / Posted by: Kenneth Brown / 11/22/10
We've been busy over the weekend. Friday was the first day we fished and we had some marginal weather to deal with. The weather held and the warm water conditions were getting better throughout the day. Fishing was good. We spent the morning chasing blackfins and had good action. We had to weed through the small fish but scrapped out a decent catch. We dropped offshore in the afternoon and found a few yellowfin bites. The largest was a citation at 70 pounds. All together we caught foru yellowfins out of eight bites. Thanks and hope everyone enjoyed the trip!

I need to apologize for the blurry photo. The camera has been actiong up and some of the photos are blurry or dark. Hopefully you will get the idea that we had a good day of fishing. Weather was great and we caught a mixed bag of dolphin, wahoo, blackfin, and yellowfin tuna. Thanks and hope everyone enjoyed the trip!
Big Anglers! / Posted by: Kenneth Brown / 11/22/10
Sunday was another great weather day. We started the day with three good anglers cranking on a few blackfins. After a good start we dropped offshore and looked for yellowfins. We caught ten and saw quite a few others chasing bait on the surface. A good sign and a good day. Hope the boys enjoyed the fishing and don't kill all the deer. Thanks!
A Good Lick! / Posted by: Kenneth Brown / 11/24/10
Fishing was good over the weekend for yellowfins and a few blackfins. The last three days fishing was similar. The yellowfins were out in deeper water and not holding on specific feature. This makes fishing a little more random. When your turn comes up it csn be very exciting. The fresh bunches of tuna were hungry and boats were getting hit with mutiples on a regular basis. Saturday and Sunday we had good fishing but never got the big lick. Monday was a little different. We covered a lot of ground and found a few fish each place we went. The best was in the afternoon when we got over the right bunch and caught seven at one time. It gave us 17 yellowfins for the day. Thanks and hope everyone had a good time. Enjoy the tuna and hope you get to eat some for Thanksgiving!
