Left out of Masonboro Inlet at 0530 for the 2 hour ride to the blue water. What's the old saying, "should've been here yesterday", that was the case. After hearing of the fantastic tuna bite last week, I just knew we where in for a treat. Instead we only found 68 degree water and no fish. Beautiful ocean, but no fish and heard of very few others doing anything as well.

Saved face by stopping at the Cassimir wreck on the way in and got on a few king mackerel. There's all the kings you want, if you want to take a forty mile boat ride for a kingfish.

Things should be hot again, just as soon as the warm water moves back in.
