Southern Style Sharkin !
Sorry for the late report , just gettin back from SC. Myself , Capt Jared ( Bay Banger ) & Matt ( Trunk Monkey ) fished with Capt Chip of Outcast Charters ( Hilton Head Island ) on 08-19-08. First off I don't know how we dodged not one but two storms that came so close you just thought to yourself Aw Sh-T
but we did by the grace of god we never had time for a second rod to be put out Our catch included 6-Blacktips (50-90lb's ) two of the larger Blacktips took to the air and believe me they would of made any Mako or billfish proud of the way they jumped !!!!! 1- Blacknose , 1 - 200lb Nurse ( Bay Bangers first Large shark ) 1-230lb Tiger that was a pure Delight ! Trunk Monkey's first Shark!(Beginners luck ) not bad for six hr's fishing ! We used Cuda , Ladyfish & Spanish Macs for bait on the bottom. The cool thing is that we were less than a mile of the beach! It was a pleasure as usual fishin with Bay banger & our newest partner the imfamous trunk monkey! Hopefully Bay banger will post up some Pics sooner or later and Kapoc next year Brother when you get back from the Sandbox it's on if you know what I mean anyone visiting HHI if you want a good Charter Operation get in touch with Outcast charters ! Tarpon , Shark , Kings , reef donkey's Live bait Sailfish & the rest of the Pelagics , give Capt Chip a call ! He is awesome to fish with and a all around good guy ! |

I lived in HHI for two years. I've never seen so many sharks in any place in my life. Glad to see you had fun.
