Sea Surface report 9-10 Hatteras to Florida

The sea surface temperature off of the coast of the Carolinas is currently 83-85°F. The coast of Georgia increases slightly to 84-86°F. There is a cold water system on the coast of northern Florida that is 81-83°F, while the sea surface temperature along the tip of Florida is currently between 85-87°F. The Gulf Stream carries sea surface temperatures between 85-87°F off of the coast of Georgia and the Carolinas. There is a sea surface low that is currently 25-30 cm below sea level that is approaching the southern coast of Pamlico Sound, while Pamlico Sound has a sea surface high of 25 cm above sea level. There is a sea surface high off coast of Georgia that is currently 25 cm above sea level. The remaining coastline is flat except for the sea surface low off of the coast of central east Florida that is currently 15 cm below sea level.
