Left St. Augustine early yesterday. Ran 100 miles towards Charleston put lines in. Had the first sail come up on the 9 inch electric blue teaser chain. Tried to pitch a dink but he opted for the short rigger instead. Missed that one and kept steaming forward. From then on out we caught over 50 gaffers. The average size was 15-20lbs with a 40lber thrown in. Of curse being the blockhead that I am,I kung-fu'ed it like a champ. I will post the Kung Fu footage when I get back in town. We ended up releases 35 of the 50 gaffers. I don't think I have ever released a 25lb dolphin before in my life but we had plwnty of meat so we let most of them go. The fun part of it was they were crushing both the electric blue and tuna candy teaser chains. We pick a bunch off with the tld 25 dink rod. We are running towards Morehead now and will fish or way to Hatteras in the slop tomorrow. Its gettin pretty sporty out now. Till next time....

Bill the forecast up the beach is for it to start laying down a bit this afternoon. I assume you have heard of the Charter boat that is missing offshoe of Murrels Inlet?-- I'd imagine you'll see right many low flying aircraft this afternoon.
Have fun-- |

Sorry for the wy. addition Dave. I was posting from my blackberry and it was pretty sporty out their. My fingers were obviously slipping in the slop. I would have rated the ride from Charleston to Morehead a 7 Hurler on the Sikorski Hurling Scale.
