Today started out pretty nice and then a big rain squall came through and after that the southwest wind blew 20-25 and it was bumpy. The dolphin fishing was good again and we did catch a couple of small blackfin. John Gurley, wife Barbie and rest of their family are all regulars on the Release so they know what to do when I holler for the bailing rods.

Southwest wind is still blowing out there and keeping the sea choppy and hot. Greg Brown and his friends from around Topsail Beach are all experienced anglers so they had no trouble keeping the dolphin biting. We also had a 400 lb. Blue Marlin come up and grab the teaser but would not take a bait with a hook in it.
