Friday Night Fishing Report

Plenty of Speckled Trout caught today just north of Frisco Pier. Most were in the 12 inch range but there were also several keepers caught. Lead heads with lime green curltails and white curltails seemed to be the bait of choice. Sea Mullet in the 1lb class and Black Drum north of the Point. Big Sharks at the point had another fun filled day spooling reels. Small Bluefish and a few Flounder reported being caught at the Inlet and there were small Bluefish caught behind the Motels. The weather for the next several days looks good so as Zach would say, "come on down" - Grumpy.

Saturday Fishing Report

Congrats to Susan OBX on her 3lb 5oz trout, With that said trout were caught today at frisco pier and the jetties.Blue fish and blow toads up and down most beaches,Heard of a few yearling at the point this evening. BIG SHARKS continue to rule at the point today.Limits of king mackerel off shore with good numbers of dolphin and wahoo. Should be a great week on the OBX "Come Get You Some" HOOP-DEE!!

Sunday Fishing Report

Another Beautiful day on the OBX today, Heard of Big drum at the point this morning,Than the sharks ruled the rest of the day. Trout Still plentiful from buxton to hatteras. Black drum on the northern beaches along with small bluefish. Puffers still being caught in the hook and on south beach.Off shore still limits of king mackerel being caught. "Come Get You Some" HOOP-DEE!!!!


Monday fishing report by Dan

Nice weather and calm seas made for a nice day fishing. Two big drums were reported caught at the point today. A 44 incher was landed about 3 AM this morning and a 50 incher around 2:30 PM. Most fishermen caught blowtoads, sea mullet, and small bluefish on bait today. Gray trout and speckled trout were also landed today. Nice weather should be here for the week and hopefully the fish should be biting.
